It’s being reported that the original trilogy of the classic Playstation game, Spyro the Dragon, is going to be remastered and re-released.
News outlet Kotaku have reported that ‘multiple sources familiar with the project’ say that the new re-mastered version will include the original games in the trilogy, Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage! and Year of the Dragon and content is likely to be cut from older games.
The Spyro game will include better graphics, a remastered soundtrack and many other improvements, with it being reported that the game’s developers, Vicarious Visions, have already started work on the project.

Speaking to Kotaku, a source said that Activision are likely to officially announce the game;s release in March with a possible launch in September, which would be in line with the game’s 20th anniversary.
Yes that’s right, the game was first released in 1998 and is almost 20 years old!
We can’t wait for the remastered version and the source says that initially it will be available only for Playstation 4 but will be launched on other platforms afterwards.
