X Factor Winner Dalton Harris’ Mum Sobs At His Abuse Claim

Shocking abuse story of X Factor winner.

This years X Factor winner, Dalton Harris, revealed that he was abused as a child brought up in Jamaica but has not revealed any names. Now his mum, 52-years-old Sylvia Campbell, has claimed she is suffering verbal abuse in the streets from people saying she is a bad mother and calling her a bitch.

During the show 24 years old Dalton explained that as a youngster his big sister looked after him and that she was like a mother to him. Dalton, who was part of Louis Tomlinson’s team told The Mirror that he was raised in poverty,

“He was very troublesome,” claimed Sylvia.

“There’s a cut above my right eyebrow and cuts around my ears and head but I grew my hair to hide them

“There are scars on my chest, arm, shoulder, back, thighs, legs and feet. I was punched so hard by a guy dating my mum, I crashed through a window.”

On another occasion, “I was told that I should walk into the road and kill myself.”

Speaking to the Weekend Star Sylvia said that she had told her son to go and stand in front of a truck after he’d ‘been giving her trouble all day.’

“People’s parents tell them worse than that and they move past it,” she said.

“Yes, I beat him when he was rude (as a child), claimed Sylvia, “But it was more scolding than anything else. I scold him out outta love because growing up, he was very troublesome,” claimed Sylvia.

“When he went on the X Factor and said that my eldest daughter was like a mother to him, it made me look like a careless mother. It mek people ask: ‘What kinda careless mother she is for Dalton’s oldest sister to have to be there for him like a mother?”

She admitted to the Weekend Star to beating her son with a pair of slippers, claiming she was a stressed out single mother with no help and her electricity had been disconnected.

Now, since Dalton’s revelations, Sylvia, who lives in Jamaica, has said that people have come up to her in the street to call her a ‘miserable woman’ and a ‘bitch.’

Sylvia said she still loves Dalton very much: “My son was my everything and still is.”
